TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Horizon Periodic Maintenance Contract – HPMC, will be valid for a period of 50000 Kms from the mileage at the time of signing this agreement or for three years from the date of signing this agreement whichever comes first. Within this period, the Client can avail 4 minor oil Services and one Major Periodic Service as per the details mentioned in the HPMC annexure. The Services can be availed only at workshops owned by Horizon Motors.
  • Periodic Maintenance Services will be carried out by Horizon Motors as per the terms of this agreement and as per the scope of work mentioned in the HPMC annexure, during the contract period . Any sort of Maintenance/ Repair jobs, apart from those mentioned in the HPMC annexure will be carried out by Horizon Motors, on additional payment, after getting prior approval from the client.
  • HPMC is inclusive of Labour, Spare Parts, and Lubricants for the nature of jobs defined and listed in the HPMC annexure. No further discounts will be applicable. The total Contract amount Paid at the time of signing the agreement is not refundable either in full or in part.
  • Horizon Periodic Maintenance Contract – HPMC is not transferable to any other vehicle. In the event of the sale of this mentioned vehicle to a third party, the mentioned vehicle can continue availing the unutilized periodic services as per the contract within the original contract period.  To avail of this continued service, the Client must intimate the ownership change to Horizon Motors in writing, and all the relevant documents issued in the name of the client to be modified to the name of the new buyer by Horizon Motors. The decision taken by Horizon Motors in this regard shall be final and binding on the Client and the new buyer and no further claim in this regard shall be accepted by Horizon Motors.
  • Horizon Motors will arrange the Pick-up and Drop of the vehicle from the premises of the client to the workshop and back through their recovery trucks, if the client opts for the Pickup and Drop facility in HPMC.
  • Delivering the vehicle to the Horizon Motors workshop and collecting the same after maintenance from the workshop will be the responsibility of the Client if the client has not opted for the Pick-up and Drop facility in the Horizon Periodic Maintenance Contract.
  • If the client opted for a 25 km Pickup/ Drop in the HPMC, and the vehicle needs to be picked up/ dropped off from any area above 25 km, from the nearest Horizon workshop, the client needs to pay the extra amount in actuals.
  • Roadside assistance within Dubai for any mechanical breakdown within the contract period will be included in the contract. However, towing charges if applicable, and the cost of additional repairs should be borne by the customer.
  • As per the HPMC contract, Horizon Motors will be using ENOC 5W30 Grade Engine Oil for replacement. If the Client insists on any other specific brand of Engine Oil, the same can be provided on payment of additional cost if any.
  • Any other jobs not mentioned in the HPMC, will not be part of the HPMC and will be chargeable for the Labour, Spare parts, lubricants, etc., whichever is applicable.
  • Horizon Periodic Maintenance Contract – HPMC is not Valid in any workshops other than Workshops owned by Horizon Motors. During the tenure of this Maintenance Contract/ agreement, the Client is advised to get additional maintenance/ Repair/ Overhauling jobs done at Workshops owned by Horizon Motors to avail of any special discounts offered in this regard from time to time. 
  • Clients are requested to produce the HPMC-Passbook issued by Horizon Motors along with the Vehicle for availing the HPMC services.
  • Horizon Periodic Maintenance Contract – HPMC cannot be terminated by either party during its tenure, except in the event of the vehicle being declared a total loss by the concerned authorities or under unavoidable circumstances. The intimation should reach Horizon Motors in writing from the Client with the necessary supporting documents and reasons for termination. In the event of termination as stated above, the unexpired contract value will be derived by Horizon Motors based on its service records/ History of service as in company records. The refund value will be calculated after deducting a) VAT amount, b) consumed services charges at normal rates without discount, and c) termination administration charges. Decisions taken by Horizon Motors in this regard shall be final and binding on the Client and no further claim in this regard shall be entertained by Horizon Motors.
